Our perception of others varies depending on situation, often based solely on physical appearance. This involuntary action teaches to understand people through what we see, and what we understand as good, bad, ugly and beautiful becomes a barrier to either approve or reject those people.

The question is: Does the first impression of a person allow us to really know them?

Des-Etiqueta tries to answer that question by creating an interpretation of the first impression. Using a copier, Omar Alcerrca has a physical manifestation of his first impression of a person, and offers the visitor the image of the first impression as perceived by the artist.
